To post pictures - upload to an image hosting site (I'm using TinyPic.com) tinypic.comIt's free - register and create an album (you can see several images displayed in one post under the Obama Administration/Bumper Stickers thread. TinyPic allows you to grab the tag for a forum board post (highlight tag, copy and paste tag into forum post) and it works without any modifications. Let me know if this helps.

what exactly did you post? It looks as though the jpg file is the size of the original file - and the only way to change the dimensions would be to crop it or increase the resolution in photoshop.
That particular picture appears to have been made with a 1.2 Mp camera.

TLC, what you are doing will work. The post is showing a thumbnail, and readers can download the "attached" picture to view - the picture should be resized to 640 x 480 for best viewing on the forum.
If you do the upload, it will display in the post. I tested it last night with a portrait, and it worked.
I'm still looking at the html codes to see if there is anything else that will work with this board.

Here is a picture I uploaded to tinypic, and I resized it for "forum/msg board" in the upload options.

It looks as though we have two options - upload to a hosting site www.tinypic.ocmwww.photobucket.comand link to the uploaded file. The other option is to attach the file to the post, and make an image tag the first line of the post. This will display the thumbnail and give the option to enlarge the image. For best forum viewing, 640 x 480 is recommended. A powerful free photo editor (with a resize option for larger files) is irfanview. www.irfanview.com download and install the program (I usually download from cnet or tucows if I have the option), open the photo, go to image>resize/resample enter the desired height and width (I keep the measurements in pixels) and make sure the maintain aspect ratio box is checked. Be sure to "save as" rather than save.....you don't want to overwrite your hi res photo. This resized photo can be attached per the above instructions. Hope this helps. Deb
