I was pleased with the election results - to the extent that the shift in the balance of power will at least reign in the legislators pushing the current liberal agenda.......
Time will tell whether or not the Republicans have figured out that we don't want business as usual. We probably won't know for a couple of more years whether or not those we elect recognize that WE elect them to REPRESENT us.
The next two years will probably consist of gridlock, but hopefully in 2012 the conservatives can take the Senate and Presidency and we will see a change in the way our government operates.
The TEA Party groups should continue to be diligent in their efforts to encourage voters to hold officials accountable - and they should also encourage more candidates that are outside the establishment to run.
Thanks to everyone who voted - even those who voted differently than I did. Our right to vote cost many the ultimate price, and it is our duty to exercise that right.
