Author - Mary Higgins Clark
2 stars out of 5. It entertained me for a few hours, but not a the "all-nighter" or "page-turner" that Cosmo and New York Times Book Review promised.
I'm going back to reading Jonathan Kellerman books - there are still a couple I haven't read yet.

I am still having some reading problems,It requires a lot of concentration,I read about 20 pages a day.I am beginning to enjoy it again.I thought for a while I was going to have to get audio books.I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much.

I read Kellerman a long time ago, I think. Over the Edge was one I remember being good. Main character was a psychologist if it is the author I'm thinking of.
I recommend Nelson DeMille. He's always been a favorite of mine.

I've read The General's Daughter by DeMille, and I have The Gatehouse, but haven't read it yet.
Jonathan Kellerman - The Butcher's Theater, Self Defense, The Web, The Murder Book, Over the Ecge, Private Eyes, Survival of the Fittest, Monster, The Clinic, A Cold Heart....some I've read. There are a few that I haven't read - Therapy, Rage, Gone, Obsession and Confusion.
I also like Stephen White's Alan Gregory series and Sue Grafton has written an alphabet series - I've made it as far as R is for Ricochet.
One of my all time favorites was Testimony of Two Men by Taylor Caldwell.
Love Patricia Cornwell (especially the Kay Scarpetta series).
The Unseen Hand was a good book that laid the foundation for a lot of "conspiracy theory" stuff.
I just love to read.
Hey, maybe we could start a book swap in the Swap Shop.

Deb, read The Gold Coast before The Gatehouse. It was the prequel and if you read TGC after, it may give too much away. I also recommend Plum Island and The Lion's Game by DeMille.

I have a lot of first edition Hardbacks.I always go to the library or wait until paperbacks come out to read them.I have an autographed first ed of Firestarter by Stephen King and every thing he has written in First ed.I have no idea why.I just like his books. I like Stephen White and also Patricia Cornwell and many more.Like I said I used to read a lot.I always buy the books I read, usually new first Edition if I can get them.Maybe someone will appreciate them as much as I have.Maybe give them to my oldest daughter at some point in time. She likes to read as much as I.
